Welcome to the home-page of FloaTEC, LLC, the deepwater joint venture between McDermott of the USA and Keppel FELS of Singapore. Our charter is to design, build and deliver deepwater floating production systems (FPS), focusing on our proprietary designs in tension leg platform (TLP), semi-submersible (Semi), and Spar technology. Our key strength - acting as an extension and integrator of our JV Parents' resources and capacities - allows us to create value for our clients by assuming the management role of program and project interfaces.

With world energy demand expected to grow for the foreseeable future, the need to find and develop more resources in unconventional locations is greater than ever. The offshore oil and gas industry is focusing more and more on deepwater and harsh environments for their exploration and production. FloaTEC LLC, with the support of ourJV Parent companies McDermott and Keppel FELS, has global reach and local presence in the important operating areas where FPS solutions are in demand - and we intend to be a key player!
