Lead Riser Engineer
Job Requirements
Summary:
As the Lead Riser Engineer, you will take a lead role in
developing FloaTEC's in-house capabilities in the sizing,
design and analysis of Top Tensioned Riser (TTR) and Steel
Catenary Riser (SCR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define procedures for analysis and
identify the related software to develop the relevant tools
- Organize
and lead riser related technical activities
- Deal with clients
on technical issues
- Eventually build and manage a permanent
team of riser analysts within FloaTEC
Requirements:
With
a Graduate degree in Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering or
with 5 years research experience in the riser technology and
well systems engineering, you will need a keen technical knowledge
of riser systems and design and analysis procedures for Floating
Production Systems (FPS). Excellent communication skills, a
positive team player attitude and a working knowledge ABAQUS,
FLEXCOM 3-D, ORCAFLEX also required.
