Brazil’s First TLP
The first TLP in Brazil was designed for the Papa Terra Field in the Campos Basin, at a water depth of 1,180 meters. In 2010, FloaTEC entered into an EPCI contract for the TLWP with a separate 3-year operations contract. FloaTEC provided hull, mooring and risers engineering. Topsides engineering was provided by McDermott. The topsides was built by Keppel FELS in Singapore and the hull was built at BrasFELS in Brazil. The integration was performed by FloaTEC using the floatover method.
